Chris Evans has assumed that his good
friend Paul Rudd will never grow old. The actor from The Avengers has dedicated
some funny words to him through his Twitter account.
"Happy birthday to another of my
favorites, Paul Rudd. Enjoy the twenty-first anniversary of your thirtieth
birthday (because that's the year you stopped aging)," wrote Evans, our
beloved Captain America from Marvel.
He is not the only one who has joined
this mockery to which Rudd has accustomed us every time he turns years.
Comedian Billy Eichner has also released a chascarrillo: "Today is Paul
Rudd's birthday. He is - and no joke - 88 years old." Even InStyle
magazine has joined the joke: "But does this man grow old?"
The truth is that Paul Rudd is 51 years
old, but his incredible way of conserving himself makes him still look like a
kid. In fact, we wouldn't be surprised to see him in an upcoming movie playing
some young man in his thirties. Of course, it hits the mark. He is the Jordi
Hurtado of the United States.
When journalists ask him about the
secret of his youth, he is always evasive: "Inside I am 80 years old and I
am pure darkness. And a little hydrating." We don't know what that means,
but I'm sure he's right.
Beyond his age, Paul Rudd is in one of
the best moments of his career. In 2015 Marvel decided to sign him to play
Scott Lang in the MCU and has since shot Ant-Man, Ant-Man vs. the Wasp, and The
Avengers: Endgame. In fact, he is already preparing the third part of the ant
man saga.
In addition, this same year he was
nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance in the Netflix series How to
live with yourself and he will shortly premiere Ghostbusters: Beyond, where he
will play Dr. Grooberson, one of the protagonists.
