Trevor Sherry, former Leeds and England defender, has died at the age of 72

Cherry's previous England partner Phil Thompson tweeted: "Another miserable misfortune to football, numerous incredible England trips together find happiness in the hereafter Trev". 

The present Leeds skipper, Liam Cooper, expressed: "Our contemplations are with Trevor's family at this tragic time. Paradise has increased another Leeds United Legend. May you Rest in Paradise".
