A pet that roused the book A "Street Cat Named Bob" has kicked the bucket matured 14. 


James Bowen met Bob in 2007 during his fight with chronic drug use when he found the feline surrendered and harmed and chose to take care of him. 

He started taking the ginger feline with him when busking or selling The Big Issue in London. 

Bowen in the end composed a book about their relationship which turned into a raving success and was made into a film, including Bob, in 2016. 

A "Street Cat Named Bob": And How He Saved My Life was distributed in 2012, and there have since been five further books discharged in excess of forty unique dialects. 

A subsequent film, A Gift from Bob, which additionally includes the eponymous cat, is expected to be discharged in the not so distant future. 

Bowen credits his scarf-wearing partner with helping his own recuperation. 

In an announcement on the authority Facebook page for his books, the writer said Bob had spared his life.
